Busy Busy Weekend.....and lots of Pictures!

I have a lot going on this weekend. But all fun stuff. Tonight my sister that is pregnant, (due June 15th) is treating me to a lovely mani & pedi tonight!!!! I am going to pick up myself a yummy drink from starbucks to sip on while getting pampered :)

Tomorrow is my sisters Baby Shower!!! It starts at 1:00, but ofcourse my day starts much earlier then that. I leave the house at 9:15 and go pick up her corsiage, then head down to where the shower is going to be. It's at her Mom's house. So before going to her house, I pick up the cake. Once I get to her Mom's house it's time to DECORATE!!!!!! I have a few pictures below of some of the decorations, invite, cake etc.. the theme is light blue and brown with polka dots. She is having a baby boy, his name is Colton.

I have a couple little surprises for her decoration wise that she doesn't know about. First one is I got a photo frame for everyone to write a message to her and Baby C. I also bought little wooden letters that spell out "Baby Colton" that I painted light blue and will have that around the cake. I am so excited!! But nervous at the same time. I will be sure to take some pictures of the final product tomorrow and share with you all next week.

HELP!!!!!!!!!

I am about to go ape @#@@#$?## on my blog. I have done everything from deleting, to resaving, to getting a different template from a different blog website. I also even tried to start a new blog, thinking my old was the probelm and apparently it isn't. The probelm is this girl!!!!!!!

If I look at my blog from home or work it looks like crap, the middle part is too big, the top part for some freakin reason is huge and all white. If anyone, out of the kindness of there heart can help a sista out. I would truly appreciate it. HOLLA! LOL

"What's New with Mrs.T?"

Work, Work, and some more work. I have been so busy lately, it's not even funny. We also have been getting ready to start our process with TTC. We aren't planning on telling anyone except for our parents. I sure hope this work's for us. So we need as many thoughts and prayers we can get!!

I  have been planning my sister's baby shower, which is next weekend. I love planning parties, so I definitely have been having fun doing this :)

I have been on a look out for spring and summer clothes, I defintely need a complete update of my wardrobe. Some cute shoes,wedges, maxi dresses...the whole nine!!!!

There are quite a bit of pictures that I want to post with you all, within the past year. Well I hope everyone has a great weekend. And I promise I will be blogging more. So please dont leave now!!!

So dinner is at 9:45, then from there we have a list of three places we want to try to get into. Ahhhh so excited... I have been soo stressed out so I REALLY need this girls weekend. And honestly I think I deserve it.. :O)

Friday Ramblin's......

TGIFF!!!!! Boy was this week a brutal one. Any plans this weekend? Tonight Lover and I will be grabbing a drink or two after work, then home to watch Due Date. Tomorrow I'm planning on working out, tanning, then heading to the mall to find a FABULOUS outfit for my girl's night in NYC!!!! It is next friday... cannot freakin wait!!!!! Ahhhh I hope I find something that is just perfect.

Then we are going over the in-law's later in the afternoon. Saturday night I am going over a friends house. We started a book club, and I was SUPPOSED to read the book but I have been so busy I did'nt. It is the girl with the dragon tattoo. Has anyone read it?

Sunday I will be going over my sister's house to go over somethings for her baby shower that I am helping throw for her. It's going to be such a amazing shower, I cannot wait!

It's been Awhile.....

I know I have lost quite a few followers, but I am so happy to see that I still have each and every one of you that are here!!!! I have TRULY missed blogging. Boy It has been a very long time....alot has been going on while I was gone. And I really should have atleast said that I was going to be taking a break....so for that I am very sorry.

Work last year became very overwhelming for me, TTC was a very big part of our lives...and with every month that went by and we still werent pregnant, ughhhh. Let me just say I was defintely closing myself off to everyone, and just wasnt in a happy place.

Now here we are today, the hubs and I finally went and saw a RE aka Infertility Doctor. I did a bunch of tests, the hubs did his thing. And we find out that we both have some infertility issues. So we are moving straight to IVF.

I don't want to make my first post back long, and depressing. But I just would like to say "I AM BACK!!!", and I am so happy to see that you all are still here and "following".


PS: Boy does this feel good!!!!

SATC Premiere, Carrie's look 4 less & Mid-Week Updates

The SATC 2 premiere was in NYC Monday night, what I would have done to be able to have been present at this event. I watched a hour's worth of it online yesterday. Then on TV last night and this morning. Everyone was just filled with excitement, and love for all the SATC fan's. The foursome came looking gorgeous, glamourous and fierce in there designer gowns.

SJP looks absolutely stunning in this yellow Valentino gown. It fit her perfectly, she really pulled it off. She mentioned in a interview that she has to give up the dress the next morning and it was being shipped back to London. Hey I woud'nt mind wearing a Valentino gown for a couple of hours!!!!!

She then changed into this lovely dress for the after party by Elie Saab. SJP I love you!!

Kim looked like goddess in this sleek Naeem Khan gown. Great Choice Kim!

Kristen looked SMOKING in both dresses she wore. In a article I have read recently she has been working very hard on her body lately.. and quite frankly you can see it. She wore a fabulously pink Jean Desses wrap gown, and for the after party she shimmered in vintage Pierre Balmain Couture.

Cynthia looked sleek and classy in Caroline Herrera, loving the longer hair Cynthia!

Amongst the guests of honor Petra Nemcova, Jennifer Love, Amanda Peet, Whitney Port and many others attended this fabulous premiere.

If you are like me and are having sleepless nights over what the heck you are going to wear to see SATC 2, well look no furthur!!! I have found one of Carrie's look's in the movie for less!!!!

As for my week, it's going okay. More then anything I am just looking forward to SATC 2, I did get a bonus this week, but unfortunately I will be seeing NONE of it. Going to our credit card bill which has gotton waaaaay out of control. Freakin sucks, but I guess that is life right?

 

I am looking forward to the long weekend ahead, and our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary!!!!!! May 30th, ... baby!!! So we are planning on going out to dinner either Friday or Sat night. Crossing my fingers that my work will let us out early on Friday.. that would be SWEEEEEEEEEET!!! Anyways hope everyone is doing well, and yes when I get some free time I will post our Aruba pictures. Happy Hump Day!

 

Kitchen disaster's......

Let me first start off by saying I'm more of a baker then a cook. I try to cook dinner and meals, some come out ehhh, others good, then there are the meals that are just not even edible. Hey I tried right?

About a year or so ago I came across this recipe found Here for Sm ore's Brownie's. How awesome do they look!!! I couldn't resist not making them. The recipe is rated as a level EASY.. I read through seems simple as cake.

I go through every step, I am to the last step were you layer the top with the marsh mellows and put it under the broiler for 2 minutes. So I did exactly what they said, it may have been like 3 minutes. I go to open the over and a HUGE roaring flame came flying out of the oven to the top of our microwave!!!!!

I scream and close the oven door, lover comes running in and is like "What's wrong!?!" I said we have a fire in our oven.... so he ran to get the fire extinguisher (I hope everyone of you has one in your kitchen) opens the oven door and just starts spraying everywhere...... It was the scariest thing.

We finally got the fire out..... our kitchen and our house was COMPLETELY full with that yellow ash that a extinguisher sprays out. It got upstairs to our bedroom.. I mean EVERYWHERE..it was the worst mess and thing to clean up. We are definitely thankful that none got hurt, we caught it, and our home didn't burn down.

That is the most craziest kitchen disaster ever for this girl. So tell me what is yours? Can anyone top mine?

Dont you just love it? I especially LOVE the mirror's on the ceiling.... LOL!!! JK!!!!!!! Can you imagine having a room like this??? Hahaha

Okay so here is my TRUE...... I "wish" I could come home to this everynight....

I loooooove sleigh beds, and dark wood. I think having the light colored walls with the dark wood really makes the room. I love it.... hmmm maybe one day?!?

1. I want to open up a clothing boutique. I think about it constantly, how I would do the decor, what designers, what could I offer that is different then all the other places I have been to.

2. Travel to Italy for two weeks.... all the old culture and history over there just amazes me. Plus all the amazing food and wine. Lover and I were actually talking about Italy while we were away last week, we both really would like to do a trip like this at some point.

Travel to the little cities, grab some gelato, hit up some wineries, hang out in Rome....

8 Glorious days & 2 for 1's.....

I am back from a MUCH needed vacation with Lover. We went to Aruba for 8 days, it was so amazing! The weather was absolutely perfect, we did a lot of drinking, eating and laying out in the sun. The 2 for 1's started at 12 everyday, I would anxiously wait until the clock hit 12:00, run down to the tiki bar and get us some awesome drinks.

I will most definitely post some pictures of our trip, I have to say that Lover and I grew so much closer. We both said that we have fallen even more in love with each other..... it really was such a great trip.

Oh here is a picture of the trees that they have down there, (other then palm trees) they are called divi divi trees. There is always a constant 25 mile per hour wind there, thank god cause its sooo hot there, so because of the wind that is how they get there shape.

1. I would say when it comes to getting my hair done, I will pay whatever I have to. I always feel so beautiful once I step out of the salon

2. Getting a manicure and pedicure.... OMG... can life get any better girls? Between getting your hair done, then a mani and pedi. Couldnt ask for more!!

I have been so very busy with trying to get the house ready to put on the market before we leave for Aruba very soon. I miss being able to sit down in comfy clothes at home and read all your wonderful blogs. I also feel that I have been slacking in the department of reading my followers blogs.Once the craziness of getting the house on the market and getting back from Aruba I'm going X-Treme full throttle on blogging. :O) So I apologize to all my followers and BF that I am following, "I'll be back" as Arnold Schwarzenegger says in The Terminator.

On another note I am soooooo excited about this, I am going to MIAMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooot woooooot!!!! At the end of June with my BFF.

{Weekend Recap & Clothing Review}

This weekend as you all know was filled with lots or cleaning, de-cluttering and packing. I was able to have some fun time though (last minute) and hang out with my sister Nicole.

I got my urban outfitters denim leggings that I won over at Fashionface. I lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrve them!! They are sooo comfortable and super cute. I really want to buy another pair!!

Happy Friday! So my weekend is filled with a bunch of cleaning, packing and de-cluttering..sounds like fun right? Lover and I have decided that we are going to put our place on the market!!!!! I'm excited, scared, nervous...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

On another note I went and got my hair done yesterday. I am getting frustrated that it's taking FOREVER for me to get blonde!!!!! I dont think I will ever do the brunette thing since the process of going back blonde feels like a eternity. I really thought the second time around I would come out looking really blonde... NOPE.
